During Sunday worship we provide fun, age appropriate settings for babies, kids, and youth in Church in the Mall 2. Together we are building a foundation through relationships and values that lead to a life of loving God and loving others.
Our nursery is for a wonderful place for babies to toddlers (0-3 years old) to be watched over by attentive, loving volunteers. We provide a snack of water and cheerios. We will also give your child a bottle you provide—we ask that you label your child’s things. To prevent illness, we sanitize the nursery after each session and do a regular deep clean of the space.
You can best help us best care for your little ones by:
- Communicating any special needs or concerns you or your child might have
- Providing any diapers, fresh clothes, or bottles your child might need while in our care.
For children Pre-K to 6th grade, we invite them to participate in classes that involve play with a purpose, large group storytelling, smaller age-appropriate breakout groups, and if there is time at the end a return to play with a purpose.
All kids’ classes will conclude with communion in the main space. For our nursery and our Pre-K 2 class, we ask that parents/guardians come pick up their little ones from their class for communion to allow our families to receive communion together and allow teachers to participate in communion as well.
For students in grades 7-12, we have an opportunity for them to work through the Bible in real ways through conversation with each other and adult leaders. On the last Sunday of the month, youth are invited to serve in a ministry or participate in worship.
All adult teachers are required to submit to a national background check.
